ICRA Conference 2022: 'Legacy: The Artist's View' - 1 December in London and online - Tickets now available

ICRA’s 2022 Annual Conference will take place at Cromwell Place in London, SW7 2JE and online on Thursday 1 December from 9.30am UK time on the topic of 'Legacy: The Artist's View'. The conference will last the day and close with a drinks reception at approximately 5.00pm.

This conference will have a philosophical construct, placing the artists and their families at the centre of the conversation. The implications of how the catalogue raisonné continues to be perceived promise to be very meaningful.

The keynote speaker will be Edmund de Waal and there will be contributions from artists Dame Rachel Whiteread DBE and Sir Michael Craig-Martin CBE RA. There will also be conversations between the children of artists, Nick Willing (Paula Rego) and Ben Bowling (Sir Frank Bowling OBE RA), the grandchildren of artists, Saskia Spender (Arshile Gorky) and Daniel Hug (László Moholy-Nagy), as well as others whose work is to shape legacy, including museum curators and catalogue raisonné authors.

The conference will be a hybrid event: it will be held in the Lavery Studio at Cromwell Place and filmed and streamed live to those who cannot attend in person. There will be ample opportunity for questions and debate through the use of a chat feed as well as live Q&A sessions with our speakers.

The ticket prices for non ICRA members are:

to attend in person: £250 (including refreshments, lunch and networking breaks throughout the day).

to attend online: £150

Please use the ticket booking form link below to book and pay for your ticket. Both ticket prices include links to recordings of all the sessions, which will be emailed to you the week after the conference. ICRA is committed to providing access to all and will therefore waiver the online ticket price to students and those who are unemployed. There is also a reduced rate for independent scholars and ICRA members. Unfortunately, due to the capacity of the room, we cannot offer complimentary tickets to attend in person at Cromwell Place.
