ICRA welcomes Saskia Spender to its Board

ICRA is delighted to welcome Saskia Spender to its Board.Saskia is the President of the Arshile Gorky Foundation and the artist’s granddaughter, as well as a fifth-generation artist herself.

Saskia’s knowledge of the art world coupled with her first-hand experience of managing an artist’s estate provide her with invaluable skills that will be of use to ICRA members.

“… The artist is always the first mover in creating a legacy and that is done in various ways by interacting with the right collectors, the right critics, and right museums, and also peers. Gorky was very active in all of those things…” …..

ICRA’s Founder and Chair of the Board, Pierre Valentin, said:
