Lund Humphries sponsor ICRA’s online conference
ICRA is delighted to announce that Art-book publishers Lund Humphries will sponsor its Annual Conference, entitled ‘Provenance and the Catalogue Raisonné’ taking place online on Thursday 3 December.
Lund Humphries’ long-awaited new book Provenance Research Today: Principles, Practice, Problems (ed. Arthur Tompkins) will be launched at the conference and delegates will be given a special discount to buy the book. This edited volume features contributions from specialists and scholars in the fields of Provenance Research, Art History, Art and Cultural Heritage Law, Criminology, Restitution, Holocaust Studies, and Digital Art History, two of whom, Susan Cooke and Lynn Rother, will be speaking at the conference.
To mark its sponsorship of ICRA’s 2020 conference, Lund Humphries are also offering a special discount of 30% off a bespoke collection of books, including Provenance Research Today, if purchased through its website https://www.lundhumphries.com/collections/ro_icra (with the offer code ICRA30). The discount is valid until 31st December 2020.
Subjects covered in the book overlap with the themes of ICRA’s conference and include best practice in provenance research; the role of provenance in resolving art-world disputes; provenance research in a digital age; provenance research in museums; Nazi-era provenance research and restitution; and the place of provenance in the catalogue raisonné. The conference will be staged entirely online and will include presentations and case-studies by leading scholars, experts and art market professionals from around the world.
Tickets for the conference cost £100 per person. The full programme and ticket booking form is available here.
